Wild Orange
Wild Orange oil is one of dōTERRA’s most popular oils—and with good reason! Not only does Wild Orange oil have a variety of uses, but its invigorating, energizing aroma is hard to resist. One of my favorite ways to use Wild Orange is to add a few drops to my drinking water for a flavorful beverage. Do Your Research
Long before I was a mom and wellness advocate, I was a writing instructor. One of the constant reminders I found myself instilling in my students was, "seek excellent sources." It doesn't matter if you're writing a research paper or making wise consumer decisions, you always need to consider the source.
You can't believe everything you read on the internet! I realize how funny that sounds coming from something you found on another mom blog or Pinterest post.
Some good sources regarding essential oils can be found at aromatools dot com and share oils dot com. You will also find more and more scholarly research becoming available on pub med dot gov which is a public database of peer-reviewed, scholarly or clinical research.
dōTERRA has created several eBooks to assist you in educating others about the oils and their aromatic and internal uses. There are PDF and a digital versions of each book, which allow your customers to read it for themselves or have it read to them while they follow along. All the eBooks can be found here:https://doterra.com/US/en/ebooks.
Hope Story
Alzheimer’s is a fairly common disease in the United States affecting approximately 5.1 million Americans. There are many ways to help fight this disease including donating to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Another way to help is to volunteer with a chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association as Wellness Advocate, Mary Gauldin, has done. She started volunteering when her grandfather was diagnosed with the disease and has worked to “provide a better quality of life for those living with this devastating disease.” What a wonderful cause to be a part of! What sort of ways have you found to volunteer in your own community? Visit https://doterra.com/US/en/about/caring-volunteer-alzheimers-association for more information.

DIY Hair Care
’m not one to wear perfumes, but I have been pleasantly surprised with how wonderful these hair products have smelled. Maybe I’m just allowing it because of the results I have seen, who knows? My favorite two recipes are the Dry Shampoo and the Beach Wave Salt Spray. I used to buy dry shampoo from the store and my husband would run away every time I used it because of the smell I guess? Thankfully, my get-ready time is not so scary anymore with dōTERRA’s recipe. It works just as well as the store brand and it smells a whole lot better! The Beach Wave Salt Spray it gave my hair’s naturally lame waves more body and makes me feel like I just came from the beach, which is hard to do living in Provo, Utah. I highly suggest you give some of them a try if you haven’t already!
The best part about this post is that dōTERRA has provided all of their recipes on one page for your convenience. Here is an idea as to how to introduce this on your blog even if you haven’t used any of the products:

Where Does Your Story Begin?
Everyone has a different story of how they got started in dōTERRA. One of my favorite parts about dōTERRA is how authentic our community is. So many of our leaders did not start building in dōTERRA to become rich. They simply shared their story and their genuine desire to help others find their own success. In doing that, their team grew organically into the business they have today. This is Brad and Dawna Toewse’s story of how dōTERRA changed their lives and how they strive to help dōTERRA change the lives of those around them. Dr. Hill, Chief Medical Officer
We are so lucky to have Dr. Hill as one of our executives! Essential oils became much less confusing and more useable as soon as I learned more about their chemistry. I really enjoyed reading this article because, in my own experience, I knew the essential oils were working for me, but I wasn’t sure why or how. I am the sort of person that needs to know the ‘why’. Learning more about the chemistry can seem daunting which is why I love how Dr. Hill breaks it down for us. He gives an easy to understand explanation of the science behind how and why these drops can do so much for our wellness. Melaleuca (Tea Tree) in Your Tool Kit
Melaleuca, also known as Tea Tree oil, is one of my favorite doTERRA essential oils because it is versatile and has range of applications. What I love most about Melaleuca is its benefits for the skin and hair. I often put a drop or two of Melaleuca into my moisturizer, or even directly on my face after washing to reap the benefits of this purifying, toning essential oil. I also like to place a few drops of Melaleuca in my shampoo, or give myself a scalp massage with Melaleuca and Fractionated Coconut Oil.
