Two ways to use this oil is diffusing it with Lavender and Bergamont before going to bed or combining a few drops with dōTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil for a relaxing foot massage. It even helps promote healthy skin! Add a few drops to Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply to help reduce the appearance of skin imperfections.

DIY Hair Care

’m not one to wear perfumes, but I have been pleasantly surprised with how wonderful these hair products have smelled. Maybe I’m just allowing it because of the results I have seen, who knows?  My favorite two recipes are the Dry Shampoo and the Beach Wave Salt Spray. I used to buy dry shampoo from the store and my husband would run away every time I used it because of the smell I guess? Thankfully, my get-ready time is not so scary anymore with dōTERRA’s recipe. It works just as well as the store brand and it smells a whole lot better! The Beach Wave Salt Spray it gave my hair’s naturally lame waves more body and makes me feel like I just came from the beach, which is hard to do living in Provo, Utah. I highly suggest you give some of them a try if you haven’t already!

The best part about this post is that dōTERRA has provided all of their recipes on one page for your convenience. Here is an idea as to how to introduce this on your blog even if you haven’t used any of the products:

If you are reading this, my guess is you are interested in going more natural in your way of living. Melaleuca (Tea Tree) in Your Tool Kit

Melaleuca, also known as Tea Tree oil, is one of my favorite doTERRA essential oils because it is versatile and has range of applications. What I love most about Melaleuca is its benefits for the skin and hair. I often put a drop or two of Melaleuca into my moisturizer, or even directly on my face after washing to reap the benefits of this purifying, toning essential oil. I also like to place a few drops of Melaleuca in my shampoo, or give myself a scalp massage with Melaleuca and Fractionated Coconut Oil.

To learn more about Melaleuca oil, how to use it, where it comes from, the chemistry of the oil, and more, check out this article on the doTERRA product blog: Tea Tree Oil Uses and Benefits: Essential Oil Spotlight.
