I love hearing stories about others helping those who cannot help themselves! This one is such a touching story as it is about a mother, Maia Ginnelly, volunteering for a foundation that works to find new treatments, medicines, and eventually a cure for Pitt Hopkins syndrome, a genetic disorder her son was diagnosed with. Maia gives her time, energy, and talents to help raise money and awareness for this foundation in hopes of helping her son live a more comfortable life and helping future generations have healthier, higher functioning lives.
